Install
Installing Files Gallery is easy because it's just a single file. Simply download latest index.php and drop it into the folder you want to view or manage and load into browser.
Download- Download latest Files Gallery index.php
- Drop the file into the folder you want to view or manage.
- Point your browser to the location where it was uploaded.
Storage path _files
After running Files Gallery in browser for the first time, storage folder _files will get created where cache, config and optional include files are stored.
Renaming index.php
If you already have a file index.php or if you want to access Files Gallery by a different file name, you can simply rename index.php to anythingyouwant.php and load into browser.
Changing root path
By default, Files Gallery loads files from the location where it was dropped. If you want to change the path from where Files Gallery loads it's file, see the config root option.
Troubleshooting
If you are have having problems, you can diagnose your server by adding ?action=tests to the url.
