Updating
Updating Files Gallery is as easy as installing. Simply download latest version and replace your existing index.php. Your config settings will remain in _files/config/config.php.
If you for some reason have edited
index.php directly, your changes will be lost.New config options
New versions sometimes come with new config options, and if you want to edit new options, first run the app in browser, and then you can edit the updated config.php file.
Automatic update notifications
If you want Files Gallery to automatically notify about new options, you can enable the allow_check_updates option in config. You will see a notification in the topbar when there is a new version available, and you will be able to update directly.
